It works. "We have two birds and neither was afraid of the new feeder or hesitant to walk in and start eating. My only disappointment was the difficulty of attaching to the cages. We struggled and finally decided the best place for each cage was on the door. The new trays did not fit either of our cages over the food trays.

Well these little boxes can be a pain sometimes to clean, unscrewing the screw to clean the interior/screwing the screw back in. But I must say they are very good at getting the parakeets to eat ALL the seeds. Yes some do fall to the floor, but for the most part--most stay in the box.
