So far so good. We used this for about 4 weeks on 3 dogs..(2 heelers/1 aussie) Direct spray to the mouth of each dog once daily. It has reduced plaque and overall breath. Note: they still have plaque and their breath is never perfect but since we do not brush their teeth this has improved things greatly..I do not expect this to eliminate all mouth issues-just keep things more tolerable.

Kitty likes to gnaw on plastic things. Tote edges, pre-made salad packages in the fridge, anything. He keeps getting swollen lips or cheeks. The vet said to keep him away from plastics, including food and water dishes, as they can harbor bacteria. So--I took away the initial plastic offenders, and keep a supply of teacup saucers for wet food, multiple ceramic bowls for dry food, and now kitty has glass mugs for water. It helped. But, somehow, this cat finds things to give him bacteria. I can't get the toothbrush near him without bleeding. ME bleeding, not him. Since I have about 5 bandaids on right now, I thought okay try the silver. You know I've used it on my own issues, so if it's safe enough to try on him??? He actually HATED the efforts to spray it into his mouth, on his face, even on his paw. He bolted off after making me bleed in multiple places. I started spraying it in his water, instead. And I sprayed it on his wet food. Initially, he'd be really suspicious of the spray and if he saw me using it, he'd avoid the water and food. But. Once he tried it, he preferred both with the spray having been added. I don't know why. I was just glad that I had something going into his body that might help. And it did. We were hoping not to have to have him sedated or knocked out & end up with a super pricey dental bill from the vet. Kitty hasn't been gnawing on as many things lately, and I added some Greenies dental treats to the daily sprays in kitty's water. Kitty still demands the spray in the water, and actually stares at me now, if I don't spray his wet food. I don't know if I can use this over the long term with him, but maybe I'll just put bottled water in the spray bottle later on. I want to talk to the vet about buildup in kitty's liver or other areas. But overall, I was so pleased to see kitty's face looking as normal and beautiful as it ought to. I was iffy about the cost, but a month into the daily use, I can honestly say that I'm happy to have found this product. It's lasted a lot longer than I thought it would, and we do change out his water at least 4x a day, adding the silver to each new water fill, and never go longer than 2 days with the same container. No idea what's in or on the plastics that he finds to chew on. But I can control the food and water, and that's as good as it can be for now. Since I can't get close with toothy products or brushes. He's not a small cat. I can't wrestle a 15 pound strongman into direct application. Glad there are options.

I don't know the flavor, but my dogs haven't yet objected.

I was concerned that my dog would be getting too much silver--not knowing how much is safe--but the mist is very fine and you can spray 3-4 times without her actually getting big doses. It is easy to use and she doesn't seem to mind the taste. We'll see how it works after using it for a while.
