Perfect fit for the 62c deck on my X748.

Fast delivery for an excellent product. It arrived in four days although shipping said to expect 8 - 14 days. Perfect fit for the 62c deck on my X748. I checked the gear oil and it was a little low. Also removed the pressure relief valve from my old gear case since this one just has a plug installed. I have used it about 6 hours and it is very smooth.
The pulley is installed with a left hand thread.

I installed this on an X465 with a 54C mower deck. I referenced the JD parts and found that the original gear case was obsoleted and the front bracket was changed, so I bought a new front bracket from Deere. However, the Flip gear case also has a gusset on the back (output) that the original case did not have. I had to grind down the center of the original rear mounting bracket to accept the Flip replacement. THIS IS NOT A DIRECT REPLACENT AS DESCRIBED. Even so, it works smoothly. You will need to fill the gear case with gear oil as it was shipped dry.
