Update 2/28/18: Has definitely protected the edges of the Apple Watch from getting dinged! Didn't realize how often I hit my wrist on chairs, doorways, etc! Whoops! Band slipping has become more noticeable and I do have to adjust it a couple of times throughout the day. I pretty much immediately started using this band and only wore the original sport band for a week but I also adjust so that it's higher up on my arm to pick up my heart rate while working out.

Awesome band! Bought the retro gold 38mm for my girlfriend, the retro gold 42mm for my mom, and the black 42mm for myself; we all love them. Saw a couple of reviews complaining about the frame not using the knobs and bezels, but the case protects the entire screen and sides of the watch. They both have rose gold watches so the little bit of pink with the gold band looks great, and mine looks formal and clean in all black. The band can be easily applied and removed. It's also comfortable and secure for any sized wrist. The magnet is also a great touch to put it on quickly without worrying about the band getting loose. I love the way this product looks. Since I had a Rose Gold color Iwatch, many bands didn't look right but with the silver it looks great.
I had a little problem removing the face cover but after several tries I did get it off. I had been worried whether it would stay on and once I saw that it just didn't slip off, I don' have that worry.
