A great size to take care of all your needs regardless of the size of the cook. I bought the cover as well and just completed my first 36 hour cook of a brisket and it worked great. Never had to add water but I did get the plastic balls and the insulating wrap as well. They all worked great in concert together.

Fits the box as indicated and works quite well. The opening for the joule is the right size for the regular clip, with the larger clip that is for thicker boxes but will also work on thinner boxes, is larger and would require the hole larger. The hole can be sanded to a larger opening to fit. Of course enlarging the opening means you can't go back.
Good product, but doesn't fit Gourmia sous vide without modification.

Fits the 12L Rubbermaid container well; however, note that the opening is too small for the Gourmia sous vide device that I have (it is not advertised to, so no negative points for that!). I was able to cut the opening about 3/8"-1/2" larger to fit. I assume it fits other sous vide units better without modification. This one with the articulated lid that half-opens is better than the other item that is designed to fit Gourmia, despite the need for modification. Plastic is not super soft and flexible. Good product.

Love it. Snaps onto my Rubbermaid container perfectly and the cutout for my Joule is accurate as well. I found the hinge closure also useful to drop in a bag at the front of the tub and fold it over the front edge - works just like a clip when shut to hold the bag in place. (The included photo was taken before I figured that trick out) The plastic "hinges" are durable enough to allow me to knock the lid against the side of the kitchen sink to remove water droplets during cleanup.

Bought for the Rubbermaid 12qt container and it fit perfect. Just did a roast for 18hrs with little or no water loss. Seems a lot easier than all the little balls. The corner mount give me more room in the container. I don't use the hinges, guessing they probably wouldn't hold up after a ton of use. My Chef Steps Joule fits perfect, you can not clip the sous vide all the way to the bottom as the lid doesn't allow for it but this is good in my opinion as it seems to circulate better being off the bottom. Just have to fill it to the top which can make the container pretty heavy. Worked great for carrying the full container without spill to the neighbors house for dinner.
