Nice and sturdy since it's stainless steel, but the bulb is a little too flexible and it doesn't pick up as much liquid as the plastic cheapo from the big box store that it replaced. And since the bulb is really soft it doesn't grip the stainless part of the baster well. I can see it popping off while basting a turkey. I wouldn't purchase again.
