This a direct replacement for the last model that BIKE made before they were discontinued. The last model certainly wasn't BIKE's best, but it was functional and relatively comfortable.
I tried out a few different affordable brands after I learned about BIKE's demise, and GYM was my second favorite. The most comfortable were papi Men's 3-Pack Cotton Stretch Jock Strap, Black, Medium
Just note, I wear these when I am working out/playing sports. My primary goals are support and comfort.

Still I like the smaller low profile waistband better

The jockstrap works well but hard to get use to the small wristband if your used to the larger two inch version. Still I like the smaller low profile waistband better.
