What a difference this made! Kind if difficult for a DIYer to install because of having to drill into the concrete floor, but easy enough for those who are handy and have the tools.

It instantly made a difference in the smell of the basement. I moved before installing the radon pump though, but am confident that it works great with a pump too.

This kit is absolutely complete down to spare parts and extra fittings and adapters. I'm installing my own radon mitigation system and the first step was to install this sump cover and seal off the sump pit from the basement space. I had been averaging 10 to 15 pCi/L on my digital radon detector prior to installation. After installing and sealing this cover over the sump pit alone (capped currently, no vent fan installed), my readings dropped by half or more most days. I will still be installing the suction fan to complete this system, but this will make that project much simpler. The only complaint I have was how difficult drilling so many holes for tapcon was. I went through 6 concrete bits, but that was hardly the fault of this product.

If you are looking for a nice radon/sump pump cover this is what you need.

High quality components..the lid is bolted to the base with stainless hardware. You get a nice seal due to the rubber gasket around the perimeter. One thing I'd recommend for ease of installation is to place the gasket on the lid first , you can put all the bolts in and the tension of the bolts will hold it in place.

My existing radon pipe is 3" so I had to get a threaded adapter in order to tie it in with the lid. So keep that in mind when ordering, you may need some other components depending on your setup.

The lid does come with a lot of adapters for the sump pump line itself so you should be good with what they provide.

Overall it's a quality piece and I'd highly recommend if you are looking for a nice air/vacuum tight lid.

This works very well and much better than what I had covering the sump tank before which was a weak lid that didn't seal properly. This sealed cover is very sturdy, it's made in the US and you can tell, it has a ton of multiple exchangeable sized pipe fittings that mount well and allow for additional drains to be installed for water system overflows. It also has a small see through removable cover that you can use to check things or test floats by unscrewing that small opening. This is a 10 star US made product I love it.

This thing is heavy duty and comes with all the right accessories. Definitely worth it.
