Plastic has reasonable coverage and was easy to fit, however, all of the metal (eye piece and all bolts and screws) have fully rusted within less than 3 months or use and are falling to pieces. The rust is now getting on my new bike which makes this product not worth bothering with. You need to have quality in the parts so it is going to last and this lacks quality. Apparently the return policy ran out 1/30/18 and now I'm, left with a useless product.

The quality of this item is poor, it did not come with all the hardware to mount the front mudguard and the size of the rear mudguard is very small, too small for a 26in tyre. Water and mud still get on my back when cycling.
Also the vibration from cycling causes the nut supplied with the front mudguard to come loose and needs tightening every other day which is a pain.
I would recommend this if you need cheap mudguards for a child's bike but that's it.

Original Review:
Initially, the item was received and the plastic was warped (rear fender pictured). Delt with it due to the inexpensive price and installed it anyway.

However, on my third trip with the mud guard installed, the warping posed an issue by rubbing against the wheel when hitting bumps.

Eventually the rear fender snapped off.

No good.

Waiting on seller to contact me with replacement details or refund.

But ideally I'd like to just keep my butt dry while riding to work.

New review (replacement item):
Sent the warped, broken fender in and ordered a new one.
It looked fine... Except the connectors were built differently. And a poorly manufacturered screw with a Phillips head unable to have a screw driver top inserted (like a glob of metal right on the n screw head) so the back fender couldn't be properly tightened.

In addition to that, the fender narrows toward the end, not catching all the water when riding in the rain.

Currently I'm typing this with a wet but and the back of my shirt looking like I've soiled myself.

Absolutely disappointed in this product.

There are things about these mud guards which could use some improvement. They work great for rain and very dirty puddles. They aren't good for mud but the mud guards that are cost 5x as much. So you get what your pay for. They are good for the price.

Generally a really nice concept. I am using these for a month now and I decided to just just the back shields. The front was constantly getting loose or stripe against the tire. Maybe that was my fault because I did not fix it properly put I got the impression that the part do generally not hold very tight. I also had to fix the fixation for the back one.. I would still recommend buying is as long you a looking for a cheap way to stay clean when riding the bike.
