It's easy enough to set up. The volume for twigs is perfectly fine.
You'll need to create some kind of grill because none of my single wall water bottles or smaller pots (eg. stanley adventure) fits on top. I used a garden fabric staple to go across the top, but even then the bottles/pot tilted. I'll look for some steel mesh "fabric" to cut up for use on top. Would be nice if it came with a grill

I took this little guy out for a backpacking trip, and it worked great! My mess kit is an MSR pot, and this stove fits inside it perfectly. Assembly may take a little hand-eye coordination, but I didn't find it difficult. I used the stove with Esbit 1300-degree solid 14g fuel cubes, and it works exactly as I had hoped. It boiled about 12-15 oz of water on one cube (lid on the pot). For the price and weight, this little guy was amazing! Now to get something this small made out of titanium :D
Versatile for other purposes besides burning twigs.

It's a bit of a pain to "fully" assemble, but I have to admit, the only reason I got it was for my Pathfinder Alcohol Stove from selfrelianceoutfitters.com
The windscreen that comes with the Alcohol Stove wasn't "stable" enough for my liking and the whole Stove "squeezes" (tightly, but not too tight) right inside the Lixada Campiong Stove. Of course, I don't put the baseplate or bowl IN the Stove. I just assemble the four sides and insert the Alcohol Stove and viola! WORKS PERFECT and has great stability. I'm sure it would work as designed for sticks and twigs (not to mention the included Alcohol "bowl" for use with Alcohol) to keep a large cup hot or reheat, but to be completely honest, that was not the intended reason for purchase. STILL recommend because it's extremely lightweight and compact, slides into included pouch, and is a permanent part of my cook kit.

Very economical and uses isopropyl alcohol for fuel (available at local stores for around $3 a quart typically. 91% recommended.). For basic camp cooking such as fried eggs, coffee, and freeze dried meals, one bottle lasted me around 2 weeks at 2 cooked meals per day. The single problem is that you will need some finishing sandpaper or emery to take the sharp edges off the pieces, which are extremely sharp in places.
