I wish they didn't call these "repair" anything. They are basically Band-Aids for scratches...nothing is fixed, just tinted or filled in with colored wax. Still, they do work to hide damage to some extent.

They are not the normal kind of stain sticks you can buy in the hardware store. They're more like magic markers. Permanent magic markers and if you smudge a little bit outside the scratch, good luck removing it. They do come in handy for edges and such, and the crayons help with big gashes, but it certainly won't give you a "like new" look when you're done.

All markers worked in the kit I purchased. The are kind of cheap and I have doubts that the tips will stay wet for very long.
