Nice blanket and it is cooler than most blankets. It did shrink quite a bit though after washing and hanging to dry. Prior to washing, it covered the top of my queen size bed. It shrank about 12". I decided to keep it though because it is such a nice blanket. If you're ordering, order the largest size they have and don't plan on sharing it.

I ordered this blanket in the yellow shade. I plan on leaving this one on the living room as a throw blanket when people get hot. It's a very thin material and feels cooling initially. It does warm up after using it for awhile though but I would recommend just using it for a little while and then stop using it before using it again. The material is really soft, light, and comfortable. I'm surprised because I usually don't like blankets that are thin since they're rarely this soft!

When I first saw this I thought this was a bed sheet instead of a blanket. Then I thought I would give it a try and so far I have been delighted that I bought this. I have used this couple times now and I can say that I will be using this blanket more often. The blanket material is very soft and smooth. I have a queen size bed and it covers all over my bed. So I think it will even be a good fit for the king size bed. I am also thinking to use this and also my comforter in the winter time. One thing to keep in mind is that it is recommended to do hand wash only and is also not recommended to place in the dryer after the wash. I don't know how I will dry it as it is kind of large but I am sure something will be figured out.

This purchase has made me HAPPY! Most people I know look for something specific in their bedding and I'm no different. Here's what I wanted: A blanket with more substance than a top sheet, yet lightweight, soft and breathable to throw over me on a hot summer night with the a/c turned way down. I'm always hot, so I turn the a/c down to "meat locker" and then need a cover. I don't just need a cover, I WANT a cover because I can't sleep without something over me. I'm sure a psychologist would tell me it has something to do with my childhood. Whatever. A top sheet didn't have quite enough weight, but every other blanket I've found was just too much weight, or it wasn't soft, or it was soft but too fuzzy/fleecy for summer. Nothing has ever been quite right until this. It is heavenly perfection! It has everything I wanted - softness with no fleece/acrylic feel, no scratchy cotton, enough weight to sleep comfortably without being weighed down, it's breathable and perfect for air conditioning. I just ordered another in a different color. So happy! If this is your criteria for a summer blanket, don't hesitate - go get you one!
