Needed coco chips for the snakes, couldnt get my usual and this worked. Bit bigger chips than I prefer but I have larger snakes so its quite fine. Would suggest mixing with some smaller or with ground coco.
I like it for my reptiles

Use as bedding for ball pythons. It smells good and it's easy to clean, but doesn't hold moisture that well (could also be because it's winter.) I just mist it every day to keep up humidity. No big deal.
Once I followed directions it was great!

I could not figure out why the bedding was so hard to use! Silly me... the packaging said to pull Out what you need and soak to Expand..... once I followed instructions it expanded pretty good. But if you're not needing the whole block it's challenging to break off chunks
It's as Good as ReptiChip and CocoBlox

First, this bedding has been the least dusty of the three brands I've tried so far. Freedom Breeder's Cocoblox is very comparable. ProCoco is so dusty I am very, very reluctant to use it again (as in, it's usually $10 at reptile expos, everything else is at least $5 more and I won't buy it). It really messes with my breathing.
ReptiCasa will have the occasional plastic strand and it does dye my snakes. So does CocoBlox. From what I read, so does ReptiChip. It all molds with moisture and bacteria. So, basically, it's the same quality as CocoBlox (and possibly ReptiChip)... At the same price.
