This seems to be a good, lightweight hiking stool. I bought this to take with me on long dog walks on ATV trails where there isn't always a place to sit and rest. I have arthritis and waiting on knee replacement. This stool is a good height for anyone with knee issues. It is sturdy enough for my 200 lbs. It is lightweight so not a burden to carry. My only negative is the carry strap isn't long enough to comfortably carry across your back. I solved the problem by using a shoulder strap from an old duffle bag. I looked at a lot if different ones and this met my need with reasonable price.

I don't use this for traveling, but for massages. I do mobile massages and was looking for an easy, lightweight, portable chair to carry. 3rd time's a charm! My first one I tried was a circular, retractable stool. It was extremely loud when I sat down and it hurt my fingers when I twisted it open. Second one was a mini, camping, folding stool. It was small and compact and fit great in my bag, but the legs kept getting stuck and I spent more time than needed trying to open it up. This folding one is surprisingly comfortable, quiet, and all I have to do is sit on it. No twisting, adjusting, and unfolding. I was worried it was too long to fit in my massage table bag, but it fit perfectly with my bolster. Love it!

I am still struggling with breathing due to having covid19 a month ago. I needed a way to sit and catch my breath when going to the store. I bought this because of its portability and its weight capacity. I have only used it once when going to the store, but it worked perfectly. It is easy to carry or put into the shopping cart and doesn't take up to much space. I was a little concerned with my ability to sit on a triangle seat when buying this, I am not the most graceful person at times, but it wasn't a problem. It was easy for me to put it out and sit on it when I needed to catch my breath. I am 5'5" with short legs, but this was a perfect height for me to sit. It works well for my needs. I really like this seat and I am happy about my purchase.
