I bought this kit for my 8 year old. It took about 2 months for us to get the printed book, the quality of the book is amazing. Excellent customer service. Will definitely buy again. Just FYI, for whom ever going to buy the kit, remember to use vibrant/ bright colors. My daughter used color pencils for her illustrations and they did not come out that good.
This is just the most amazing thing for kids

Great kit - scan pages before mailing

Daughter was so excited she finished the kit within three days of receiving it for her birthday. The finished product is good quality with sturdy materials, vibrant color, and nice type setting on the title page and back cover.
Now getting it between the creation and final product stages was a bit more challenging. Handed it to a USPS counter clerk the first weekend in November and hadn't received the book or any contact six weeks later. Contacted customer support who responded promptly. Apparently, they recently changed their address so packages were 'delayed'. Luckily, I had scanned the story pages as recommended in the kit and they were able to get it in their production queue quickly using the electronic version. We received the finished product within 2.5 weeks of sending the scanned pages. So, scan the story pages and order form before tossing it in the mail, just in case.

I got this for my artistic 8 year old daughters birthday and she looooved it. We just got it back.. took a few weeks.. but it was so worth the wait. Going to order another one so we can do it better next time but it is still a really cute idea. Encourages creativity. And they'll always get to keep it. Very cool idea. I love it.
