I really like the quality of the sound
OJR✓ Verified Purchase•December 28, 2017
I have now used this Xvive system a bit over a year.
I really like the quality of the sound. Keep in mind it will transmit whatever comes out of your guitar pickup. I have an acoustic guitar with a mediocre pickup system, and an electric one with and awesome pickup/amplifier system. The electric one sounds awesome, while the other, not so much.
The run time of the batteries is decent. I get at least four hours of play time. I really like the form factor.
I am not too impressed with the build. It feels flimsy, like it might fall apart if I drop it. When I flip the switch I feel like it might be the last time the switch works. I am not too confident it will last long. I use it an average of 3 times a week. If I get three years out of it, I will feel it was worth it.
I have used the Joyo JW-01, and one of the Nady systems. The Joyo hisses and crackes, and the Nady was bulky the base needed to be plugged in. The Xvive outshines both.
There is one thing I don't like:
When using it at home, it kills my wifi connection, so I cannot play guitar and use my internet at the same time. This is bad, but not a deal breaker for me. I play at different places, but have not heard any complaints about dropped connections yet. Were this not an issue, this system would have goten five stars from me.
I hope this helps someone.
Cheers!!

Good, cheap wireless. Construction is an issue.

These are great, generally.
Pro: Easy to use, great sound, affordable, good battery life (2+ hour gigs - no problem). No interference with other systems.
Con: Construction. The transmitter is coming apart at the seams, and while it still works fine I can't snap it back together.
Customer service is not fantastic, either. I told them about the problem, and they offered to either sell me a new one for $50, or I'd have to send it back to them for repair (shipping at my expense.) I am just hoping it holds together for a while and I get my investment out of it!

I was skeptical when buying these as i always am. They seemed too small to be any good. Boy was I wrong... These are really fantastic. Very easy to set up (just charge turn on and then plug into your guitar) and you are ready to go. No difference in sound quality or tone (from using a cord) and I am not tripping over that dam cord anymore! I just love these and I will be buying another set soon. One last thing you should know...they worked in all 10 of my guitars and they are not all new. Oldest one is from 1992 up to present day and they all work perfectly with the system. I have another wireless amp (Line 6) and the wireless does not work with two guitars so I was very happy to have those guitars working with this system! These are one of my favorite tech gadgets of all time! You can't go wrong with these!
