This is just what you expect...a lovely tomato paste to use in sauces or a chilli. Any tomato base that requires a flavorful thickening agent. Fresh, bright red, and so easy to dispense in your sauce (compared to cans). Also, the packaging ensures it will not take on that metallic taste if you store it long-term in your pantry. At 7 oz, it is more than what you get with the 5 oz small cans, which is helpful when you are making a 12lb batch of marinara for freezing.
