During the day from a distance they look fairly real, up close they look like felt flowers. Purchased to go with a memorial stone which has blue flowers on it. The recipient loved the idea of seeing her Moms memorial even at night with these glowing flowers. They do look like the provided picture at night. Would be very pretty in groups also.

This is a beautiful way to add color and light to a yard or porch. As soon as it turns to dusk the beautiful rose begins to shine. I ordered this solar Rose because I thought that it would look pretty outside at night especially during the winter time when flowers are not blooming. I ordered mine in the yellow color which matches the pictures perfectly. With the right as you're able to adjust some of the branches and also position the rosebuds a little bit by bending it. Make sure that you do put this in an area that will get plenty of light and make sure that the solar panel is not being covered. You can turn this on or off So I would make sure that you have it on the on position. Also there's a little protective film over the solar panel make sure that you remove that as well that way it'll get the full effects of the sunlight. This is nicely made and it was shipped out very quickly and packaged nicely. There is a tiny bit of assembly required which will take you less than a minute to do. I'm very happy with mine and I do plan on ordering some of the others
