I use these for something other than sold, but worked great. I have two large metal warehouse doors that face west. In the summer they get so hot you burn your hands on them and they radiate tons of heat into the space. I taped 4 of these over the door, (big door) and they block almost all the heat. And since they are thin, I can still roll the doors up and down. I guess they save me at least $75 a month in cooling alone.

Got them for the old 72-Hour/Bug Out Bag kits! Will likely buy a few more for the car, everyday carry, etc. I love that they come in orange so they can also be used for signaling. I always think about Hurricane Katrina when the news would show people stranded on their roofs using bed sheets to try and signal for help. So yeah, the orange was the right color for me.
I like that these come individually contained in their own ziplock and label. I'm gifting these to my family, and with the label they'll know what that weird foil thing in their emergency kit is about.

A mylar blanket once saved me from hypothermia on a backpacking trip where the temperatures dipped way below expected overnight. This Christmas, everyone on my list is getting 2-3 of these to keep in their cars in case of emergency breakdown. I like that these have an orange side too, for visibility. These really work! I now keep one in my car and in my backpack. One of these inside a sleeping bag can make all the difference in a pinch if your bag isn't warm enough for the conditions.
