Excellent product! Only rated 4 stars because it was too small for my feet (size 11) but my kids (size 10) were able to put it on, with a bit of a struggle. They can zoom all over the pool, only limited by their ability to hold their breath. The first few goes are a challenge and result in much "whale flopping" but they got the hang of it. It can take them really deep really quickly, and we had one instance of a grazed chin when she got too unexpectedly close to the bottom. Get a good pair of swim goggles to go with it, or they will leak with the speed and depth changes.

I've had a lot of fun using this! I also have a full-body bathing suit and a fin seemed like a no-brainer! This is very well made. Very light, you really need to sit in the water to put it on. There are elastic holes in the top to put your feet through and they meet on the other side. A flexible plastic insert holds the fin's shape but the covering isn't made for lots of abrasion so you don't want to put it on where you can't start swimming pretty quickly. I'm a woman's 8.5 and my son, who tried it out, is a men's 12. Neither of us was in danger of having it fall off. It doesn't take long to get the hang of using this. I'd recommend it for any age!

I loved the idea of these fins but am really sad that they are so poorly constructed. The Neoprene material is coming undone around the ankle and the thread is all over the place. This is the first day we used them and the kids were hooked on them. The idea is just wonderful and they loved them. The material covering them is poorly sewn. The blue part of one of the fin parts already has a whole in it in ONE DAY OF USE. This is used by a 6 year old so it is not that demanding on it. I would love to know what recourse I might have without paying for the shipping of it back.

Really great! I am 10 years old and I would recommend this fin to all kids. This fin is way easier to swim with than the other tail because it holds onto your feet better. It never came loose or fell off while I was swimming. It was very hard to tread water in deep end and my mom stayed right beside me because she wanted to make sure I was safe. You must keep moving and you use more energy swimming because the tail is heavy and your legs are together. Shallow end lets you rest but when trying to swim the tail hits the bottom of the pool. You can flip on your back when you get tired but it is hard to balance on your back because you can't spread your legs out. Have to pull hard to put on over feet but that is what keeps it on! When standing on the tail flat footed my body wants to fall over.

This was so awesome when we got it. Appears to be high quality, and it really works! Kids mermaid swimming all over the pool, super cool. However, today is the 11th day since we received the product, and see pics - it started falling apart within a week. We do have a cement pool, maybe it would not fall apart so quickly if it was a different material pool? We liked it so much that we're returning this one and getting another just in case this one was particularly bad, but I don't have high hopes. My daughter used birthday money to buy it, and she really loves it - but in a few days, it's going to fall all the way apart, so I'm returning today.
