Very bright and heavy... I had a rattle that worried me but had to do a show so had to use it... almost returned it but did not have the time...opened it up after the show and found that the power supply that was glued in had come loose... use a hot glue gun and re-set the ps... vendor should read this and get back to the manufacturing folks to do a better job of securing the power supply.

Light arrived packaged well so that the product arrived in pristine condition. The base of the lamp had a cover to make sure no damage occurred to the plug of the light. The black metal of the light is a great feature if you are trying to maintain a specific ambiance. The light is fairly blue/purple as it is the upper end of the UV spectrum.
This product would be great for blacklight parties or if you wanted to make sure the house is clean (see images). Soap scum and other fairly invisible residues light up when this light is shown upon them.
I will be continuing to use this for my hydroponic plants to sanitize and reduce bacteria growth throughout their life. I will update if there are any major findings with regard to the plants.
