We live in the houston area. Our unground pool was HOT. Miserably hot. Got this just to try. After running it a few days, the pool was noticably cooler. My daughter actually asked to remove it because the pool was "cold". Her definition of cold and mine are different, but well worth the money.
We did have to make an adaptor from supplies from Lowe's to get it to connect, but ut was easy enough for my husband to do.

The media could not be loaded. The screw on fittings that came with these were too big but I was able to remove them by sliding off the pipe and replace it with the piece I unscrewed from the pool and they attached on nicely. Not sure if they actually cool the pool or not yet but they are spraying. The pipe that sprays fits almost too snug to the piece that attaches to the pool and I had to use quite a bit of force to get it to attach.
