I HAVE AN 18' BASS BUGGY THE OLD CABLE STREEING WAS SHOT KEPT GIVING ME FEED BACK FROM MY 60HP BIG FOOT MOTOR I CHANGE THIS ON ADVISE FROM A FRIEND AND THE PRICE WAS RIGHT AND IT WAS A LITTLE HARD TO FIGURE OUT BECAUSE THE INSTRUTIONS WAS VERY VAUGE. BUT I GOT IT AND MADE IT WORK PROPERLY I AM VERY PLEASE WITH THIS UNIT NO MORE FEED BACK

Quality seems good. Would have been great if install instructions were written in English by someone who spoke English. The attempt to do that is just gibberish and makes no sense whats so ever. I installed a SeaStar System on my other boat and that helped me get thru most of the install. Seems like the stud that goes thru the engine tube is too large and dosen't have enough spacers with the kit, so I have a 1/2 " of play. Don't know if this is normal but I won't think so.

This is my 2nd Hydraulic helm from Woqi. EXCELLENT products. Well made, installs easily. Makes steering so much nicer. I read though a bunch of the other reviews and i can say that 90 percent of the ones with problems used incorrect fluid. I have used the quicksilver hydraulic helm fluid with Perfect results. its a little more money than other solutions but its a quality fluid that works flawlessly in this helm.

if you are on the fence with this system, buy it. The customer service is FANTASTIC. Great support and super helpful. They want to make it work for you.

Update June 4th 2021. These people are determined to make your order right. I have a small leak that I can't seem to stop so they're me a whole new steering kit to replace the one I have. Now that is customer service! I'll update to 5 stars once I'm complete with the change. FIRST POST... I changed my Teleflex steering to hydraulic steering on my 20 foot pontoon boat with a 60 HP mercury. It is amazing how much easier it is to steer. Had a small leak on the helm part. I've torn it down three times and it still leaks slowly. I have to keep a rag on the floor of my boat to catch the drip and it works great for about a week before too much leaks out. Hopefully the seller will see this and send me some new fittings or a new hose and see if it's just the hose that has a defective crimp on that fitting. I've worked in hydraulics for years so a defective crimp on a fitting is not unusual.

It's very affordable, seems to be a quality product. Made my boat steering smooth and no feedback. The only thing is no hydraulic steering fluid, but for under $400.00 any power steering fluid/hydraulic oil will work just fine. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another one.
