I opened the package within a week of getting it and vacuum packed the dry beans into smaller jars for longer storage. But I did make a pot of refried beans from the beans. They were absolutely delicious. I would definitely buy this product again.

Amazon did not package them properly, so the bag of beans had broken
through the poorly taped box, which had no packing material in it. This delayed delivery while the Post Office did additional poor quality taping. Also, the outside of the bean bag was wet and dirty. Be sure to insist on proper shipping materials and procedures.

There are beans & there are beans! These fit into the "you get what you pay for" realm. If one has to eat beans, why not the best? Add a few country ham bits, dab of sugar, S & P -- & for bean lovers -- they're more than good to go!
