Recently picked this up and I love this white noise machine!

What I love about this one is there is so many different sounds you can pick from. From fan noises to white to brown noise, there is something for everyone here. The controls are super easy and it is easy to turn off and on. It gets loud enough to drowned out a lot of stuff. Really have enjoyed sleeping with this.

Been having alot of trouble sleeping. Light sleeper, so little sounds disturb me. Mentioned to my Pulmonologist during OV year ago. She recommended a sound machine. I did my research and found the LectroFan at a reasonable price and features. I found it amazing with alot of different sounds (love ocean sound), controlled volume, and small in size (Avg Women's hand). Takes up very little room on nightstand. It has definitely helped with noises and a more satisfying sleep. In having discussions with other people, many have and use sound machines. I would recommend. Amazing! 😊

I read many reviews of white noise generators and this model repeatedly got high scores. I ordered one and was not disappointed. 10 assorted white noise choices, 10 simulated electric fan noises and my favorites, 2 ocean sounds. 6 simple control buttons cover on/off, choice of sound profile, volume up/down, sleep timer from 1 to 8 hours before shutoff. Also has a memory feature if you want it to recall last volume and sound setting when switched on. Very tidy package and after 2 nights I could find all adjustments by touch in the dark. Also has built in earphone jack. I found immediate improvement in my falling asleep time and overall quality of sleep. Adding an otc sleep aid or a Melatonin capsule yielded a great night's sleep that was positively luxurious. At a $30 price point what's not to love?

Let me start with what for me, and my personal needs and likes, were the pros. It is well made, logically designed with good features and sounds good. I like the fact that there are only TWO categories of sound - white noise and fans. I have had machines with white noise, fan noise, birds, crickets, storms, babbling brooks, lullabys, pianos, and ocean sounds. Most were cheaply made and poor performers. I am only interested in the white noise variations and different fan noises. I don't use the machine for covering up loud disturbances but rather to generate a soothing, constant sound to help me fall asleep and stay asleep. I have a minor tinnitus issue and have found that a low volume, soft low frequency, constant sound works best for me. That's were the lower frequency white noise and fans with a constant volume are all I need in a noise machine. I am returning this unit, not because of any serious flaw that most people wouldn't like, but rather because of my particular needs. Not wanting to cover up annoying sounds and only looking for only a very subtle background noise, I found that the sounds I most prefer couldn't be played at a low enough volume for me. Most folks want MORE volume, not me! If the volume would go a little lower, I would have rated this unit 5 stars and been perfectly happy with it. I honestly believe that most people would be pleased with this unit and I can recommend it with the single caveat about the volume which I am particularly sensitive to.

I live in a basement underneath the kitchen and have a loud roommate. I also have sensory processing disorder and sounds causes me a ton of anxiety. I bought this to help drown out some of the upstairs noise of people walking around, especially during the early mornings when I'm still trying to sleep. I also use when I'm doing therapy at home to create privacy. It has helped tremendously! It really drowns out a ton of the sharp, abrupt sound and creates an even tone that is way less stressful. I turn it up as loud as it will go and don't get woken up. I like the options and there really is no looping sound (it's digital). Highly recommend!
