I haven't had a chance to use it yet but i am concerned because the size chart on the Amazon website doesn't match the chart that came with the snowshoes. I bought a 30 inch using the online size chart but according to the chart that came with the shoes, i should have bought the 25 inch. I'm going to try them out but might be exchanging for the 25 inch. Also, why does the instruction booklet have to be so small. I needed my glasses and magnifying glasses
Design Attracts Ice Buildup
Amazon Customer✓ Verified Purchase•February 15, 2018
These fit my shoes nicely, but the metal claw bolts under the heel of the shoe attract ice like none other. When I use them, huge balls of ice get stuck to the metal under my heel and I have to stop to hack it off. Otherwise they are great. Snow does not build up on the shoe while walking due to well placed holes and shape. Would be five stars if metal parts under foot area were covered in plastic/fabric etc.
I love hiking, always wanted to try snow trekking

I love hiking, always wanted to try snow trekking, this snow shoes is very light weighted, love the color, will be easy to find in the snow, with the bag it's easier to carry around without hurting by the sharp teeth on the bottom of the shoes. Can't wait to use it.
Easy-to-use bindings

The bindings on these are delightfully well-made. The ratchet mechanism is straight forward and easy to use. Construction of the snowshoes is nicely done, no weak spots noted.
I was able to try the shoes out, before the big snow meltdown here in SW Michigan. In my back yard, my 185 pounds would sink into the snow about 8 or 9 inches with boots; with these snow shoes, about 4 inches. It is still some work to walk, but these make a big difference. Things are flat here, so the crampons didn't really come into use.
Hoping we get some more snow, so I can use these again before spring!

Beginner/ 206 lbs - 25 inch pair Great pair, used them on a 4 km trail ...

Background: Beginner/ 206 lbs - 25 inch pair
Great pair, used them on a 4 km trail and I felt no discomfort from the shoes until the very end of it.
The straps are tough to adjust mid-trail but sturdy enough to last the whole loop
