I was born in Brooklyn, raised on Long Island and know real bagels from "bagels". These are authentic, large with crust on outside, soft on inside like from bagel shops and very delicious. They make great sandwiches but a purist prefers cream cheese, Nova Scocia lox (smoked salmon) and some would add a slice of raw onion. I am not Jewish but was brought up in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, a Russian/Jewish neighborhood. Slice and eat one or more when you get them delivered and hard freeze the rest. And DON'T microwave because it ruins them. Let them defrost naturally.

They were the most important thing in my head for so many years of my life. I never thought I'd see or taste them again and when I saw the pictures of them on your site I couldn't get them fast enough. I wasn't sure they would be the same as
I had them in 1972 and when they came from NY I and ate one I was so happy
because they were the ones I had eaten
so many years ago. The one that I got was "Everything".It was so soft and chewy . I couldn't get Pat to eat the same kind but the one that is in the store here.
I told him that he would love this one from NY and when he got the nerve to have it he couldn't get enough. We went through the box of 15 in about 8 or 9 days. So, I had to go to their website and order more. We decided to try different ones this order. I am so happy Amazon.com has the best of the best of all the ideas that I can get, and you can too.

Important, what I learned. Next time I should keep In refrigerator this bagels . Than i will enjoy fresh and delicious 😋 bagel everyday with my kids.

I love bagels! These are delicious! I freeze them separately and pull them out as I need them. I split them, toast them in my toaster and use butter & a bit of cinnamon sugar. Why buy store when you can get NY bagels!
