Easy Assembly IF All Parts Were Included

You should know that this does not come with valve stem caps, or the screws necessary to attach the back deck to the frame. You'll need a couple of matching machine screws. It's nice that it's almost completely assembled already, BUT it's pretty shoddy. Lots of small scratches on the deck frame, the metal yoke on ours was NOT over the stem, requiring disassembly for repair, and our bell has been bent and doesn't work. We'll add a bell later. I seems sturdy and I think will be enjoyed by our granddaughter. Just make sure you have what you need (as well as needing to put air in the tires). The "instruction book" doesn't list the missing items at all, and doesn't tell you how much air (look at the tires). Once repaired, I think it'll be great.

First let me say that this was a birthday gift and my daughter absolutely loves it. Extremely cool looking trike. Assembly is pretty straight forward. I didn't see the included instructions until I was just about finished and that really didn't matter. No challenges to speak of. My daughter never really did master the bigwheel we got for her but she instantly was able to cruise around on this. Maybe that's due to the ergonomics, I honestly don't know. The few points that are against this.
Quality control is very lacking. The front fork is bent to one side some. Not terribly but it's very noticeable. The fenders are not straight either.
I should mention that I bought one for $100 not the$200 colors. I couldn't say it's worth 200 but very worth 100.

Our first trike showed up with no handlebars in the box, that was a bummer. However, Amazon did a great job of immediately replacing it.
So one the new trike got here we were excited to assemble it. It went together easy. But sadly the Schwinn motto of quality is no longer. The foot pedal breaks apart all the time and there is a weird ticking sound as it goes....like the sound if you had a rock in your tire. Except the trike is in the house and the tread isn't big enough for rocks to get stuck.
On the good side, it does ride smoothly and the kids really like it.
