I ordered a purple Beast 20 ounce tumbler and a Yeti 20 ounce Rambler hoping I'd prefer the Beast, due to great reviews, lower price and accessories included. Sadly, I'm returning the Beast and keeping the Yeti. Why? Well I ordered a purple Beast, and even though the box says "purple" on it, inside was a blue tumbler that had overspray on the stainless steel ring around the top. Only one straight straw was in the box. Looks like this product was used. Oh, and Amazon tossed it into a padded mailer, so the box was nice and beat up too.

We loved it.. but we wanted something which was perfect for just chillin.. I picked up two of these (black and pink).. she loves the pink.. it's a sexy hot pink lol.. trust me ya girl will love it.

So you mean to tell me nothing is wrong with it? Well actually there is.. After a long night she woke up in the morning.. grabbed her cup and spit it out dramatically.. why? Because she forgot there was a mixed drink in it lmaooo.. (a cold mixed drink) so now I'm back on here again to get two more smh lol.. we decided we need to get a different color for "drinks" just in case lol.

Case in point.. Get it.

I'm actually about to get the 30 or 32 oz ones for when I'm gaming lol.

I've been using this cup for 6 months and I absolutely love it. It gets used daily and it still looks great. I've dropped it a couple of times as well without any damage to the cup. I love that it comes with two straws and a cleaning brush for them.

I don't like ice and only use water from the fridge and it still stays cold for hours. Occasionally I put coffee or tea in it and it stays hot for a long time. Once the cup is half empty the drink does get cooler faster.

I've seen some people's concerns about not being able to clean the lid properly and mold accumulating under it. It is actually easy to clean and I'll include pictures. Make sure the sliding closure is closed and then flip the lid upside down. Push on the sliding piece through the little hole that you drink out of and it pops right out. Now you can wash it and then put the sliding piece back in the closed position and push down and it snaps right back in.

I definitely recommend this cup to anyone who wants a good quality metal cup that keeps drinks hot and cold.

Overall, it's a great product. I would buy this tumbler again and I would also recommend it. I did a lot of research before choosing this one to purchase and I am not disappointed. My favorite thing about it is how durable it is (the beautiful robin's egg blue being a close second). My main complaint is that it arrived with several imperfections, albeit minor ones. It arrived quickly and was mostly packaged well. In my opinion, the pros and cons are:

PROS:
- Incredibly durable
- Super high quality
- Beautiful color
- Color will not fade because of material
- Easy to clean
- Perfect size (I bought the 20 oz, it fits perfectly under my Keurig and in my car)
- Straws & cleaning stick are nice add-ons
- Very fair price
- Long-lasting
- Dishwater-safe
- Stainless steel
- Snap-on lid (turning ones sometimes stop working after extended use)
- Close-able hole (a big plus for me, I spill things, and it keeps drinks cooler/hotter)
- Mostly spill-proof
- Keeps drinks cold for a long time
- Keeps drinks hot for a bit, and warm for awhile

CONS:
- Upon arrival, came with some imperfections (such as a small dent and a ripple between blue color and stainless steel top)
- Not 100% spill-proof
- Straws are not quite long enough
- Could keep drinks hotter for longer
- Not the best shape for gripping, even being the smaller 20oz, and my hands/fingers are average

In conclusion, despite the cons of this tumbler I would still highly recommend this product. 4.5 stars!

Never having owned a Yeti I can't compare the two. What I can do is write about my experience. We drove to Florida from NY And I filled up my cup with cold water. We left at 9 am, I finished my water by 6pm and it was cold the whole time.
Better story, I filled the cup up with ice and water the next day at 8:30 am and had ice cold water until we arrived at 6 pm. But the surprise was the next morning I hadn't finished all the water and when I took a sip of what was left it was still ice cold and had some ice in it also!
I love the straws as well with the brush for cleaning. That in itself is a plus. And it DOES NOT leak from the lid. Not a drop!
I had thought if I keep the straw in the cup it will probably make the cold water not last as long. WRONG! As you can tell it wasn't affected at all.
So if you are on the fence about purchasing this, get off and purchase it. I bet you won't be sorry.
