Unusual review because my keyboard is yet in the mail. BUT. I am a HAPPY owner of the Midiplus X6 non-pro keyboard, and I genuinely LOVE it!!! Everything about this keyboard is great. Key pressure, key size, all onboard electronics (buttons, knobs, faders, etc.) is just right and works perfect. Also I have a Midiplus Midiengine, and I have general idea about the latest Dream 5000 sounds. Of course, there are a handful of sounds which are great. Much more of them are just mediocre (I have quite a few decades of experience with almost all synths/romplers in the world, literally), but the grand piano (#0 and #1) sounds are totally exeptable by me to play any gig with them. Of course, I'll pay another $100 for the ability to upload my own samples (soundfonts, or SFZs, doesn't matter). And I'm really puzzled WHY in 2017 (well, 2018 almost here) no manufacturer does this thing.... Maybe Midiplus?? If you guys read me here PLEASE-PLEASE-PLEASE consider this option!! Believe me your sales will jump rocket high! Ok, that's just my usual rant, but... I hope someone will make right desicion.
