This is the third indoor antenna I have tried so I wasn't expecting much...especially when it arrived and it is only about 4 inches tall on its stand. I have to admit I was disappointed and thinking about sending it back before I even connected it. According to Antennaweb, I can get up to 13 channels over the air. My little inexpensive bow-tie antenna can pick up eight and not always the same eight. Reception varied by channel from not available at all to excellent based, I suppose, on weather conditions. When I plugged in the Chaowei DVB66, I immediately got 14 channels, one more than listed by antenna web but I could not get the RETRO channel which is supposed to be available and close by, I did not run a new scan so it may yet be available. Initially, some of the channels were "iffy," occasionally breaking up or disappearing, but when I plugged in the recommended amplifier, all channels came in with excellent quality and sharp pictures. This was the last step before ditching Comcast after an unexpected and unjustified $25.00 per month rate increase. My cable box goes back to Comcast next week and I don't expect to be returning. This is sa great antenna at n outstanding price, even with the addition of the amplifiers. I highly recommend it.

We have been looking to cut the cable on the BIG cable bill each month. This TV antenna is our last piece of the puzzle. Out of the box and 5 minutes later we have 12 local HD channels that include a few of our favorites, It pull in the local programming that does not come with many other cable companies offerings. I was afraid that not having a antenna amplifier would affect the number of stations we can receive. The unit is very small, and easy to conceal or tie in with the room decor. .Comparing this with the flat panel antennas, I prefer this antenna because ias it is easier to manage (and the fact that it works better than anticipated). I am really satisfied (I paid full price) with this unit out of the box, Plug it in, and search channels then watch!

Worked as advertised for me. I picked up 47 channels in an apt. House possibly more. I mainly wanted to pick up all PBS networks, ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX , whatever regular networks are to go along with another streaming option (SETV Now- $20 mo. No contract) Downside, does not provide "local news" but has 500 channels. The antenna picture is very clear, if not more clear than my cable. I also ordered an amplifier but that made not difference. The antenna is fine by itself. Not a bunch of cords and quite small. Magnetic option so i have on the side of my ac/heat unit but can stick to anything medal, though stands on any surface. Told my sister about it last night. Ordered her one too. Easy to install, just put where the cable cord goes. It has a very long cord to stay near TV or move. CW, ION MeTV, Bounce and others, in addition to QVC types and news from various countries like France 24, China, Africa, Britain.

This little guy is a great option for cable-cutters. Much smaller and more attractive than its thin, square, paddle-shaped competitors, this antenna is easily concealable and looks decent. The magnetic base is great, too. I can set it on my metal tv mount or on the end table without accidentially always knocking it down. Worth the cost.

I was shocked by how small it was. I really thought this would be the size of a microphone. I had an older digital antenna that required to be plugged in. This little thing only requires to be screwed in back of the TV. I received 40 more channels than what I was getting. And the cord supplied is very long so it was able to reach to my window. Very satisfied
