My chair legs are square, 1.25" (or 1 1/4") wide by long. The square set fit them perfectly. The back legs of my chairs slant a little bit and it still worked fine. My chairs are a very dark espresso color on the wooden parts - and this does not detract from the look. You have to really LOOK at the bottoms to notice them. I'd say they are 80-90% see through. They also stay ON and they slide so easily and quietly. Thank you! Love them!

These are very sturdy and will last a long time. Very happy. Updating since I installed on 8 dining room chairs. They fit perfectly and look fine.
