Dilute it in a sprayer as per instructions (I use 8 ounces in 2 gallons). Walk through your yard and find the weeds. Spray them well when you find them. Do this WEEKLY, especially in the spring.

If your neighbor's lawn is full of weeds, spray a border around your yard and spot spray the rest. This stuff is too expensive to spray the whole lawn like a lawn service would do.

If you're tall like me, buy a sprayer with a longer nozzle and it will help your back.

It takes some effort and regular application throughout the season, but it works. Put in the effort and you can have a weedless lawn that is safe for kids and pets after a few hours.

It works great on dandelions. Clover is a little tougher, but it gets it eventually. You need to pull some stuff with skinny leaves (this is broadleaf killer), but weed-free grass tends to choke that stuff out. You'll need to water too or the iron in it will leave stains when the lawn dries out. Water and extra seed helps with the crabgrass too.

On the other hand, I'll do this for my mother's home, but I'm fine keeping even greener and living in an apartment. A better environment really means apartments, townhouses, and no lawns to spray in the first place.
works ok

If you douse a dandelion it will eventually kill it. I spot sprayed several this spring and over the summer, though I have more than I could probably take care of with 1 bottle. I just tried to keep the front yard mostly clear. This would probably work if you had relatively few weeds that you could just spot spray, but for treating the whole yard, especially for dandelions I don't think it would do much good. maybe other broad leaf plants would die with less application. I would still rather use organic herbicide, and I understand they wont be as potent as using something like round up, But I don't want those chemicals anywhere on my property with animals and kids running around and a vegetable garden close by.
This is a good natural product

It kills the root and allows planting in the same area within a few days. Great for use in the garden. I have used both this and Spectracide with good success in places where I want something else to grow, as well as cracks in my driveway.
