This jump starter is powerful. It cold winter started a dual battery diesel 8 cylinder 12 volt.truck that had been run down to dim cab lights..This unit is a heavier than the Nickle Cadmium jump starters because it is a high-output AGM battery. I have a NiCad jump starter that did nothing to start my truck. This is a professional grade jump starter and weighs a little over 20 pounds.
