I'm turning 54 soon and having to switch up my makeup game BIG TIME. I read way too many product reviews, but decided to give this a try and ordered it in gold to line my bottom waterline and the corners of my inner eye (I'm new to doing both of these things). I'm not looking for a dramatic, over the top Saturday night look- I'm wanting to slightly brighten my eyes and buy products that last on my face throughout the day. I had awesome luck with this in gold- it's subtle (a GREAT thing) so I do need to swipe over the places of application a couple of times, but that just means I can go super subtle OR turn it up a little bit more for going out. I wore this for the first time yesterday in 100 degree Texas heat shopping, walking back and forth from stores to parking lots, and for me this product stayed on until I removed it at night. I was super impressed because I honestly expected it to fade/disappear- but it stayed I would say at about 80%, just slightly less strong than when I applied it that morning. I just ordered three more of these in gold, and two in bronze and one it whte. I know several reviews for the bronze shade mentioned it was very light in color/difficult to see once applied, but I am betting it will work for me since I'm looking for more subtle results anyway. I'm really excited I found this- it brightens my face and lasts, so it's definitely a keeper and part of my routine when I put on makeup these days. I apply a super light brown eyeliner to the lower line (just outside the waterline) and a darker brown to line the top lid- this new way of doing my makeup yields better results and creates a softer, brighter eye for sure.

I bought as a cheaper dupe to some eyeliner I'd seen an IG influencer wear, and this was $9 compared to $25. I love it it looks the same it goes on smooth, it lasts, and it gives you the perfect enlarged eye- awake look!!

Availability. I can't find the product anywhere else.

My only complaints are that it's pretty spendy for Maybelline and I can't find it in stores anymore. Does that mean it's discontinued? Pity! It's pigment is bright and stays from AM when I out it on until PM before bed. It's hard to find another "pencil" type applicator that allows you so much control. Other ones that are, are full of a hard crayon-like substance that don't spread well enough in that small, sensitive area of the inside of the eye.

I hope Maybelline continues to make this product or something very similar. It's one of my favorite cosmetic products.
