Looks just like the picture, and we found the 6 inch size to be very adequate - personal taste - It is of course up to the buyer as to what they like/want. Quality seems excellent. Packaging in bubble wrap was adequate and no damage noted. I think it will be a very nice gift and my only concern is that they might get more than one. Fingers crossed!

It is even more spectacular than in the picture. We chose the inscription that is shown, "A Love Story that Never Ends," which describes my brother and sister-in-law, making it even more perfect. The email correspondence with Mukobo at the Metal Foundry was consistently immediate and spot on. When I expressed a bit of concern about the punctuation and spacing of their names, Mukobo email'ed me a mock-up of the sundial before making it. What great service! So, if you are looking for a unique high-quality gift that will be made specifically to your wishes, look no further! Product was delivered in plenty of time for our 30th wedding anniversary. Quality was way below standards that Amazon sets for vendors . Looks and feels like a cheap carnival prize. Made of cheap iron . Actually 1/3 of back side is crusty rust.,O n the front is a cheap flaking spray paint . The holes that line up the "hour hand " do not line up in a straight line 12 to 6 . This is a $5 cheap Carnival prize for knocking milk bottles over with a baseball . Can hardly read it due to very poor quality.

This arrived super fast and as shown but it felt impersonal to me. Perhaps my husband would have liked it but we're not gardeners nor nature enthusiasts nor 60 so it just didn't feel right. I didn't put it together just saw it and thought, no, wrong gift. This may be better suited for a couple who enjoys nature or gardening where it would make sense to give each other. Or, as a gift to give away to a couple but for each other, it didn't seem special to me. That's my opinion, I'm not knocking it. The item itself was very sold, larger than I expected, bigger than my hand, felt sturdy (heavy) and arrived quicker than promised. I wish I had across this 6 mos. ago for my in-laws 50th Anniversary gift, would have been perfect!

I purchased this item as an anniversary gift for a friend. When I initially received it, it was much smaller than I anticipated. I contacted the seller for a return and they wanted to know if I would be interested in receiving a larger sundial as they had many requests for a 10" size. It was already past my friends anniversary, but I said sure. They completely forged a new, larger mold, re-cast the sundial, and sent it to me cost free. They even let me keep the smaller one. It took a while, but Chris and Jemma made sure I (the customer) was completely happy with my purchase. I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a unique anniversary gift. In my opinion, they went above and beyond excellent customer service. They easily could have returned my money and called it good. That shows integrity folks.
