Exactly what you think it is

Genuine Mazda part. Does exactly what it's supposed to. Does not provide as much protection as I would like, especially to the top corner of the bumper. Looks good, and includes everything you need to install. Just make sure you clean you bumper first.
I love it, twice now!

I bought this bumper guard twice now, once for 2017 CX5 GT and now again for my 2020 CX5 Signature. It looks really nice, fits perfectly and was easy to install. It comes with cardboard guides. I put it on my 17 immediately and 3 years later at trade in it was still adhered perfectly, not loosening at all.
Fits my 2019 CX-5 perfect

Fits snug and looks great on my 2019 CX-5. This is an OEM part so that shouldn't come as a surprise that it fits, but the product description on Amazon needs to be updated to include the 2019 model year.
Fits perfectly

The part comes with paper templates to assist in centering the cover on the rear bumper, but the templates were difficult to use. I relied on a tape measure and a steady hand to orient the cover, and it came out fine.
Classy looking

I debated about this mazda guard or a black rubber off brand. I bought both to see which I would like best. I kept the Mazda one, because it looked classier on my cx5.
