Wish the FM were stronger
Cyn✓ Verified Purchase•August 23, 2018
For the space I have for this, it is perfect. The FM is very weak. It is good quality construction and easy to read buttons and display. I have a very old TEAC component with my original component sound system and it is still going strong over 30 years later! That's why I chanced it again with another turntable and the TEAC brand.
Does it all!

This music machine plays every kind of music we've collected over the last 50 years and plays it beautifully. David added a pair of Klipsch speakers to enhance the sound, but it sounds good on its own also. We've set it up in our bedroom, so it would be nice to turn it off with a remote from bed, but no such option. That's my only complaint.

The record and tape player are fantastic.
The built-in speakers are just OK.
No complaints.

This item came pretty quick. I've already burned about 20 CDs on this. I've mostly burned old mix-tapes I did back in the 80's/90's (before I switched to making mixed-CDs in the 2000's!). This system is very easy to use - just put in the cassette tape and a blank CD and hit "record" and then "play" (right after you get the tape going). There is no rubber mat that comes with this for the record player. I bought one separately and it makes a nice "cushion" for the records. I highly recommend this system for "low tech" folks like myself who don't want to mess with computer files and MP3's.
