I have a California King and it's been difficult to find a bedspread or comforter that is wide enough to cover the sides of the box spring . I do not like dust ruffles basically they are too difficult to take on & off wash/replace/repeat! I wanted a bedspread that would cover the entire bed and this one is much better than all the rest. The pictures I have included are to show the coverage. I do not make my bed by tucking the bedspread under the pillows and then pulling the bedspread over the top because it eats up too much bedspread. I tried to show in the pictures that I did not pull the bedspread all the way over the top of the pillows I left a little room and that is so I have the length at the foot of the bed. My mattress measures 12 inches and the box spring with the frame is almost 12 in measuring the mattress to the floor was 30 in. The pillow shams cover the top part of the bed well enough so I'm happy with that. Putting the pillow shams on was a little bit rough but I got through it. And even though I was struggling with the Shams no stitches were ripping. I do recommend putting the pillow in the side of the Sham that has the label first. I ordered black and it is not the darkest black it's a little bit lighter and I'm okay with that. As for the pattern it is very lovely it is not stitched , but a series of dots which is a lot better if you have pets that can rip out stitches. Recommended.

Purchased this in the dark gray on a whim and am super happy with the purchase. Our king bed is on one of those large wooden captains beds with storage under which I love for the storage, but not so much for the aesthetic. This blanket is oversized and covers much of the frame (and our bed is quite high compared to most)

I was a little worried the material may feel really synthetic/polyester-esque but it definitely doesn't. Nice and soft, very smooth.

One main reason I ordered is that I'm tired of dealing with the duvet cover! i wanted a nice thin simple "quilt" that could be placed over my beloved down comforter to give the bed the look I want, while keeping washing and making the bed simple, but not overheating me at night.

This is perfect. The tiny bit of additional weight on top of my down comforter was apparently something I have been missing and didn't even know. I have slept like a baby every night since getting it.

For a XL quilt style blanket, it fits easily in the washer and dryer which makes washing a breeze.

I have had difficulty in finding a bedspread that I like, that is also fairly lightweight (lightweight for sleeping and also because I tuck it in at the foot of the bed). Since we use the bedspread as our blanket, so I want it to overhang a pretty large amount on each side of our 14" mattress (so that there is still plenty of overhang after people get in under it) and it needs to hold up to cats. I do not know for sure how well it will hold up to the kitties, but since the pattern is stamped on, there are no threads for the kitty claws to catch.
When I had it such that the longest edge was head to foot, we were tucking in almost a foot of blanket and there were only 4-5 inches overhang per side -- before anyone was under it. So I flipped it and now it still tucks in, but also gives a large side-to-side overhang.

Was pleasantly surprised when this arrived. Well made and good quality for the prize. Color and design were exactly as pictured.

So soft, and light. I would of bought more but sold out. Love, love, love
