Came as a set of three different sizes. Wood look, but not wood material, so no splinters in the fragile skin of young or older crafters.Outer piece pops into the groove of the inner piece of the frame. I could do my cross stitch in these or just hang craft/artwork. VERY FLEXIBLE, so I actually found hoops I won't break! Ha! You can hang your work up with the hangers on all three hoops.

Horrible. A strong chemical smell that permeated the whole package and the cute bag. If that wasn't bad enough, I tried one and it left a dark brown ring on my white fabric.
