Overall satisfied with this Pop-A-Shot model

Overall satisfied with this Pop-A-Shot model. It has a good variety of head-to-head games that are fun to play, including a single person game, accurate scoring and decent options for sound effects and it is made with quality materials. This particular model can actually fold up to take up less space when not in use which is a nice feature.
Only part that I am dissatisfied with is model is that the game controller that is supposed to mount to the tube/bar at the bottom of the ball return does not fit over the tube/bar; it is too small. I snapped a piece of the plastic clamp of trying to push/slide it onto the tube/bar so it has to hang on the side of the netting which isn't ideal when resetting for new games.

Pop-A-Shot is an iconic brand. Though there are many imitators, there is only one Pop-A-Shot because of its superior quality. Similar products can be flimsy and have a feeling of being overly plastic and not solid. I checked out some competing products and just did not feel they could handle the wear and tear of kids and adults playing endless hours on the game. So I ordered Pop-A-Shot and from the first time I lifted the box, I could feel the nice weight of the unit. It took me about two hours to put the game together by myself but the instructions were easy to follow. The end result was a sturdy unit that is functional and awesome! I have it located in my basement next to my washer and dryer and every time I go down to wash some clothes, I have to get up a few shots and play a quick game! Great product.

SO MANY GAMES, SO MUCH FUN !!!!
My kids have had so much fun these last two days. It comes with 7 small basketballs, great for my 6 & 10 year olds. And the control panel is so cute"”the buttons are balls that look just like the backboard. The kids can easily choose which game they want to play (there are 10) and what audio they want. They love the announcer and when he tells them they got a new high score. Absolutely perfect game for the basement.

This is a really great game (only one drawback - see below):
PROS
- kids, adults love it (usually more popular than foosball or others)
- fits comfortably under a 7ft ceiling
- very durable (frame, rims, backboard all top notch)
- 7 basketballs and pump included
- 6 different audio options (announcer is great) and volume can be adjusted
- folds up when not in use and has wheels
- 10 different games to choose from (some are just longer versions of the basic game)
- very accurate scoring system (it's missed a few shots, but not many at all)
CON
- assembly does take some time (and patience) but in the end it's definitely worth it!

I've played a lot of these basketball arcade games and this is hands down the best. First of all, it's really sturdy. The frame and backboard are solid, and the ramp is good nylon. But what really makes the game stand apart is when you play the game. It's really easy to select a game and audio and start a game. Choose the Audio with Announcer and Sound FX"”it's so much fun! The announcer counts down and when the game starts there's crowd noise and the basket swishes when a ball goes through the hoop. And the announcer is great. He'll say things like "You're on Fire" and "You're on the Train to Tripletown!" POP A SHOT IS THE NAME in basketball shooting games.
