My husband and I didn't agree - I liked it - he didn't - but then he's not as adventurous with food items. You must be prepared with the "whisky" taste/smell...don't give up after the first cup - keep in mind it is a change in smell and flavor. If you are adventurous with food choices, give this a try.

I got my hubs the variety gift pack for Christmas. He LOVED it. Yes, the price is a little high for smaller sized samplers - but it was a terrific gift. So much so that I ordered the full sized Rum aged coffee. It is a little different than the usual gift and that made it special. The aroma was very nice as he opened his gift. The flavor was VERY special. Not crazy strong - just a hint of whiskey. He loved it! I couldn't afford to keep it around all of the time, but for special occasions... it hits the spot!! Great job and brilliant idea!!

The beans were dry, the flavor was so-so. I wouldn't recommend it for the price. If I'm paying almost 30 dollars for a bag of coffee I expect it to at least be freshly roasted, and not taste like it's been sitting around for a few months.
UPDATE: Wow, I'm really left speechless by the amazing and personal customer support offered by this company, 100% will be buying from them. You can't find people with this much pride in their products. Rwandan medium roast is absolutely stellar, to the point, I wasn't super satisfied with my initial purchase, they sent me a sample of their other roasts, and oh man, this is the stuff that gets me through the day now. This stuff is also going with me to my next field exercise, no doubt the best customer experience I've ever had, thank you Coopers, you really are the best best.

I was perfectly fine drinking the free swill coffee my company provided. I was perfectly fine paying a little bit for the generic brands of coffee. But then my husband went and got me this. My taste buds and coffee budget are forever changed. This coffee is delicious. It genuinely smells like a Saturday morning coffee beverage, but without the impairment. If you're a coffee officionado, which the closest I was to this was preferring my coffee black, then you will enjoy this. If you're not a coffee officionado, then you just may be after trying this coffee.
