This is just an unbelievably good dog basket! I love it, my dog loves it too. If your dog is small enough to fit in, get it, you won't be sorry. My dog is a little on the tall side, with long legs. He has to duck his head when sitting up in it, but he lays down on the blanket I put in the bottom as soon as we get going. He is the type that would lose it when seeing a rabbit or another dog, and so not having a "lid" to the basket would not work for us. He has barked, freaked out, and turned around in the basket while riding past other dogs, but he can't get out, it's secure and sturdy. I've also noticed he doesn't freak out as bad as he used to, I guess he's learning he can't get out so why bother? So, in a way, this is a good training basket for my particular dog too. The basket does create a lot of attention wherever we go-people smiling, pointing and commenting on it. Just altogether a very cool item. Get it!

I purchased this so that I could bring my chickens along on a bike ride. It's a fine size for a chicken, but no more than one would fit at a time. The basket is exactly as pictured and is well-constructed. It has long hooks that slide securely over the bike handlebars. My bike is an All-City Pony Express with fenders, it fit just fine after I removed the front reflector. I find the chickens like short rides, about 10 mins or so. Although I expect I'm showing up on Instagram feeds when I take them out for a spin. It shipped from China and did take a few weeks to arrive, but this was expected based on the shipping estimate.
