I purchased this shawl in case it was a bit chilly in Las Vegas, NV, the night my son was getting married. It was very soft and lightweight. Big enough to tie the ends in front, and Im a plus sized woman.
Come the night of wedding, I'm all dressed up in my nice dress and suede boots. Didn't realize it had started raining outside, a steady cold drizzle. Felt good to have my shawl to keep the chill off going out to get in our Uber ride. Became even more important, however, when leaving the wedding to go to the reception.
My son arranged for an Uber to take us to the reception. They couldn't pick us up directly from where we were at. We had to walk down the street, for several blocks, in the cold and rain. I decided to put my shawl up over my head to try and help protect my hair style. There was enough fabric left to partially cover my cold, wet, shoulders.
I figured with the rain my poor shawl would be unwearable ever again. Wrong! My hair style looked great at the reception,and my shawl dried quickly. The shawl was as soft and beautiful as the day I first got it!

This one is perfect. It is lightweight yet warm. I bought another one on a different brand that was silk and cashmere -not near as warm and almost cheap quality. But this one is perfect. I was worried the wool blend would be too warm but it's not. it's perfect in overly cooled air conditioned rooms. I bought silver gray and I will get another in a different color
