All garden hose washers are not the same. For anything involving a garden hose, this rounded doughnut-like design has worked perfect for me for many years. I'll never go back. All of the other hose washer designs have been inferior, especially anything that is flat on one side, some of which are frequently undersized. But even when they're not, the flat ones are still inferior. I can't understand why the worthless flat ones are still sold. I originally obtained a set like this from an actual physical store, and when I ended up needing more I couldn't find them anywhere in person. Thankfully I found them online! Just recently I purchased a cheap hose extension at Menards that came with it's own washer, as most hoses do... leaked like crazy when I attached to the end of the primary hose. You get what you pay for right? But wait.. once I received this packet of washers, I ripped out the original washer from the cheap extension hose and put one of these puppies in it's place... no more leaks.. perfect... except now since that was sealed, it started leaking at the end where the long garden watering wand was attached... no issue.. I simply replaced the washer in the wand with another of these rubberflex pups.. and now.. absolutely no more leaks... If you haven't tried this design before.. it's time.
