Exactly as pictured. Paper seems to be good. The outside covers are great for decorating as well; should hold up to paint and markers. These are the right size for my A5 cover. I may look for some that are slightly bigger to fill it in a little more, but this size works great too. I just like a fuller, busting at the seams, messy look. Overall, would recommend and purchase again.

These are very thin journals. I design BoardGames and needed something small to keep with each game for play testing notes. These are exactly what I needed and cheap enough that I can keep one with each game.
They are well made for the cost, but not if great quality compared to what is available at higher cost (duh).
