When I first started using the Karaoke System, I was a little disappointed in the sound quality, but when I synced it through my home speakers, it was so good. The entire family really enjoyed the Karaoke once the sound improved. So much fun. CD's that come with the system weren't selections anyone was interested in singing, but we did find really fun CD's on-line.

This is a really good machine for the money. We have had too many fun times with it already. The sound quality is great. I love that is not only came with two mics, but has built in stand for them.
We use youtube for songs. The discs that came with it were like from 1901 (Mary had a little lamb / Old McDonald had a farm type songs). The discs went in garbage first night.
The ONLY downside is when you put your cell phone on the stand, it causes static interference. You have to hold the phone to read lyrics as youtube does not play on karaoke image screen.
Overall, we are very satisfied with this product and would make this same purchase if I had to do it all over again.

I just received the Karaoke USA Model GF844 karaoke unit today, and I love it! I put it through all of its paces -- tried every feature. They all work; they're easy to use; and the sound quality is remarkably good and powerful. That includes, among other things, using CDG discs, MP3+graphics disks, recording onto a USB memory stick, and playing songs from my cell phone through the speaker. I had posted a question as to whether or not it had a headphone jack and, if so, whether plugging in a headphone muted the speakers. No one responded, but I know now that the answer is "yes" to both questions. The unit is light and compact and, so far, a joy to use. I am mindful that it may not be rugged, but I intend to treat it gently, just in case. The two included discs are, as many have said, fairly useless, but who cares?
