This product has great adhesive power. My son wears an Omnipod and a Dexcom. I bought the Omnipod patch to try before I bought both. During the summer with swimming and heat, my 7 year old needs some extra adhesive power for his devices. This did the trick and the pod easily stayed on for three days. We had to use two adhesive wipe removers to get it off. I actually cut the patch and overlapped the edges to use it on the Dexcom as well and it stayed put for a week, even with 5 days of swim lessons.

The OmniPod insulin delivery system is great, and usually sticks well. But my partner rock climbs, and occasionally tears off the adhesive on his pod. We've started using these if extra activity is expected, especially if water will be involved. However...you must allow them to cure for a hour plus before hopping in the pool. Otherwise, they roll right off, and take the medical device with them. I wish there was a strap that went across the OmniPod (which BTW, I spoke with a Insulet Rep and they support these stickers to hold down the pod - even ones with a strap across the pod were recommended). Also, removing the paper is a bit fussy. But the price is good, no skin issues have arisen from the use of this product, and they're useful keeping the OmniPod stuck down. We also use the Dexcom stickers by these guys too. The only frustrating thing is the packages for both the Dex and the Omnipod Simpatch stickers look identical. Nothing my sharpie marker wouldn't fix. :-)

I first bought the Dexcom patches and loved them so much that the next day I bought the Omnipod ones. I will be writing a separate review on the Dexcom product page. I bought these mostly because of my 8 months Goddaughter who loves to pull on my pod daily. The patches hold up very well and come in a nice purple color which I love. I have warn them for the full 3 days plus the addition allotted 8 hours with no problems, pealing or skin issues. I wouldn't go as far to say that I have "˜sensitive skin' but other products have left skin irritation and sticky film behind. The adhesive is gentle but strong. I will advise that they are a one shot and you are done type of product. Once you stick the product down there is no pealing it up and using it again. What I do is take off half the backing, line it up with the pod, stick it down and then remove the other half before stick it down. It seemed to help to keep the two patch sides from ending up in the wrong place or accidentally sticking together. The price is also about half what other products charge as they normally range from 3 dollars for one patch to 16 dollars for ten.

I needed something to hold my Omnipods better in places that I get a lot of movement especially since I work out almost every day. These have held my pods to my thighs, shoulder blade areas, back of my arms, and my lower back. I tried to use KT tape and other brands of patches but for some reason even though Simpatch FEELS the same, they work much better. I do not have to use a special remover to take them off even though I do for my actual pod and my Dr Bronner's bodywash does not weaken the adhesive at all. I have no rashes or itchiness from these patches. I'm definitely ordering these on a constant bases. One patch lasts the 3 days of my pod... they could actually probably last longer. I'm trying the Dexcom cutouts next.

I like the idea of these and overal it works. My daughter seems to have an irritation with skintac and is in the water surfing and swimming a lot so it definitely helps with that. The reason I rated it a 3 Star is the fabric is just too big for the Omnipod. You have to bunch it in to cover the actual fabric of the Omnipod. It doesn't lay flat because it is too much extra fabric. It also has a lot of give, it's very stretchy which makes it hard to work with. I think it is designed for the Omnipod so I'm not sure why it isn't cut properly. I will buy them again because it's the only one I have seen like this but I wish it would be adjusted for a tighter/easier fit.
