Didn't work out - Lots of Static

I bought this antenna based on my great reviews. I ignored the reviews where people gave 1 or 2 stars for it not fitting. That doesn't help describe the antenna itself, just lets others know that it doesn't fit a certain vehicle. It ended up fitting the new antenna assembly I installed on my 4Runner. It looked cool too as it was longer than the other stubby antenna I tried. I was hoping to love it but I didn't. I was unhappy with the antenna because it picked only a couple of my favorite pre-set stations. Even with those two stations, it wasn't 100% clear. I got a lot of static on the other stations and I couldn't hear any of the music. I only tried it on FM radio and not AM radio. I had to return it because it didn't work for me and I live in the city. So, I thought it would work even better in the city instead of any other setting.

Bought this for my 2017 Nissan Frontier. In live in the mountains of Virginia and didn't think it would work very well but honestly it works just as good as the stock antenna. Had to screw in the adapter screw and then to the truck, made sure it was in there pretty snug. Im pretty happy with the results. FM and AM work great, I can pick up stations about 40 miles away just like I did beforehand.
