I was a little dubious about purchasing a code reader that was so inexpensive, but this one had great reviews and I understand why. It does what it's supposed to do and it was easy to use. I had previously taken my 2002 Highlander to a parts store to get the error code. One of the possible causes of that error code was a loose gas cap. I inspected the cap and noticed the gasket was broken so I ordered another gas cap along with this reader. I hooked up the reader and it produced the same error code I got from the parts store. I then followed the directions to clear the code and it worked like a charm. Gotta love it!

So easy to use, I could probably teach a 5 year old to do everything... Only thing I would recommend after you get the code(s) you are looking for is to google the diagnostic code vs just using the accompanying book as you will easily find more details (and common quick fixes).
Only knock I give against the product is that I wish it was "frustration free" packaging, as it required carefully cutting out of its plastic clamshell.

Immediately upon receiving I used this in my 2003 Dodge Stratus and was able to quickly identify that I only needed and oxygen sensor. Replaced the sensor and now the Check Engine Light is gone. So easy to use and was absolutely accurate. Also worked on my 2007 Nissan Xterra, accurately identified the Check Engine Light code and replaced defective sensors. No more lights....Really convenient for the price...
Does not work on all vehicles

Does not work on all vehicles. My experience is it worked well on my Lexus and Honda however wouldn't reads codes on my Nissan Armada.

This machine has a unique design of keys. It is a beautiful diagnostic scan tool with only 2 keys "“ enter/next key and scroll key. I think these two key can definitely simplify the operation process and save time. I do think this is a Good unit with unique design.
